SEED; A contemplative multilayered flora form sculpture.
Invisible in darkness, the audio-visual installation comes to life as the projected colours and patterns unfurl throughout each wire-mesh layer. The digital decay interrogates themes of a digitally placed world, it’s potentiality and the blind trust we hold in the technology around us.
“SEED is a multi-layered flora form sculpture whose patterns appear layer by layer emphasising the motifs of bloom and decay. The installation seduces us with its blossoming colours, and then takes it all away. The digital decay symbolises the reliance on and blind trust we place in electronic devices in an increasingly tech-dependent world.”
